U12 Girls Team
Our 5th and 6th graders will typically practice twice a week in the evenings at Ft Couch MS. Home games are some Friday nights and Saturday mornings at Boyce MS, with away games scattered throughout the week and some weekends depending on the opponents field availability.
At the U12 age group, the game transitions to full field 11 v 11 + goalies. At the U12 age group, the girls begin to learn more of the rules of lacrosse, as well as modified checking is introduced. Typically at this age group, we have had two teams of 5th/6th graders split evenly per league requirements. The girls are generally assessed during the first few weeks of practice so that even teams can be formed.
Specific practice days will be determined as season details are finalized.
